Did you know that chameleons do not have ears but are not deaf? They can detect frequency ranges from 200 to 600 Hz and while most people believe they can change their colour to blend into their space, that isn't always the case. Scientists believe they do this to reflect their mood and also send signals to other chameleons. They can run up to 21 miles an hour and can avoid predators easily.
Today I felt like a chameleon. There were times I had to change, blend, and occasionally stick out, not for the sake of sticking out but to show others I can be a chameleon with many bright colours and I can adapt. Sometimes blending in allows you to hear and see things you never noticed before, giving you a unique opportunity to prepare for your next move, the change in dynamic, a small step, that action that will set a master plan in the making into motion. Embrace your inner chameleon!
